Masks: Face coverings are required in all locations. Our associates are required to wear face coverings, and now we are asking that our valued customers and patients do so too. This requirement does not apply to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition. We are happy to accommodate our patients who cannot wear a mask with “minimal touch” transactions supported by Reserve Ahead, Curbside Pickup (where available) and other options to safely access the cannabis medicine you rely on. If you are not sure what options are available in your area, please check your location page on our website to learn more. Our Customer Care team is also available to help accommodate your needs.

Across all locations, we will continue the following practices to ensure the safest environment possible.

Our continued safety practices include:

 Minimal-Touch Transactions – We encourage customers to visit our website to order ahead and use curbside, drive-through, and delivery service where available. <link to website for that
market/location so customers can learn what options are available to them> In locations where we do not offer curbside, drive-through or delivery, we will continue adhering to our
comprehensive safety standards with the intention of creating a safe and welcoming environment.
 Shortened Wait Times – We are using technology to minimize wait times so you can get in and out of our stores easily. Ordering ahead for pick-up, curbside or drive-through service (where
available) is the best way to minimize your wait.
 Air Quality – We have invested in a state-of-the-art microbial reduction system which has been installed across all retail and production locations. This air quality system reduces contaminants
in the air such as viruses, bacteria and mold.
 Increased Cleanings – We have increased deep cleaning and sanitation routines, with any shared surfaces sanitized hourly.
 CanPay – We encourage customers to take advantage of CanPay to minimize cash handling. With the CanPay Debit Payment App, you can stop using cash and start paying with debit! Learn
more and get started by visiting: CanPayDebit.com.
 Cash Transactions – Associates are trained to wash hands, change gloves and sanitize the area after every transaction.
 In-Store ATMs – Our in-store ATM machines are sanitized throughout the day.
 Face Coverings – All associates across all Operations are required to wear masks at all times.
 Face Coverings & PPE in Stores – All associates and customers are required to wear face coverings in all locations. We provide masks for customers who do not have them and have placed hand sanitizer throughout our stores for your use.
 PPE – Including masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectants are fully stocked across all locations and associates adhere to strict guidelines for consistent use.
 Health Checks – All associates participate in onsite temperature checks before starting a shift and are educated on best practices for self-monitoring.
 Social Distancing – We are maintaining our standard of 6 ft. social distancing, and continuously monitor the number of customers in stores for safety and proper spacing. At particularly busy times we may ask some customers to step outside the store to meet with proper spacing and social distancing needs. Ordering ahead can help minimize wait times.
 Plexiglass Barriers – We have installed plexiglass barriers at all checkout and register areas and are sanitized regularly.
 Signage – We have placed signage and decals across all locations, a constant reminder for the need for 6 feet.
 Auditing our Measures – We have been and will continue to conduct audits in all locations to ensure our policies and safety measures are being put into place correctly and consistently.

June 7, 2020

To Our Patients & Customers,

On Saturday, June 6, Governor Baker announced that retail facilities (including cannabis) are allowed to reopen on Monday, June 8 with occupancy limits as part of the state’s phase 2 reopening plan. We are excited that both NETA Brookline and NETA Northampton will be able to resume Adult Use sales inside of our stores, where we can provide the most optimal customer experience. While we are optimistic about the recent decline in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations across Massachusetts, our continued focus remains on operating safely and cautiously for the protection of our staff, customers and patients.

What does moving into Phase 2 of reopening mean for NETA customers and patients?

– A Reserve Ahead order with scheduled pick up time is still required to shop at NETA for all Adult Use customers and Medical Patients. Walk in full service remains closed until further notice.

– Adult Use outdoor doorside pick up will end, and customers will complete their transactions inside the store.

– For Medical Patients, there is no change to your ordering or pick up options. You may continue to place orders for in-store pick up in both Brookline and Northampton, vehicle curbside in Northampton, and home delivery in the greater Boston area. If you are utilizing curbside pickup in Northampton, please remember that all persons inside the vehicle must be 21+.

– Debit payment is still preferred, but cash transactions no longer require exact change!

– The cap on our available pick up times will ensure we stay within the reopening occupancy guidelines.

As we move forward, timely arrival for your scheduled pick up is still critically important. Being on time allows us to control the flow of customers into the store and ensures that we can safely serve everyone while maintaining proper distancing and safety protocols.

Please bear in mind that a mask or face covering is required for your visit. Per state and local orders, all customers and patients are required to wear a mask or face covering upon arrival, and during their time at NETA, for the protection of employees and other customers and patients.

When you arrive for pickup, please maintain a safe 6’ distance from those around you and please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

We want you to feel safe and comfortable during your experience at NETA.  Here are some of the steps that we have taken:

-Nightly deep cleans, plus regular routine sanitization of all surfaces

-Installation of glass partitions at the point of sale

-Enhancing air filtration systems in all NETA locations

-Sanitization of all shared devices between each transaction

-Maintaining social distancing for staff and patients, including break spaces and inventory storage spaces

-Requiring (and providing) appropriate PPE to be worn by staff at all times

-Requiring masks or face coverings for customers

-Promoting frequent and thorough hand washing and sanitization

-Updating sick time and PTO policies to ensure employees can stay home if they are sick or caring for someone who is sick

-Minimizing time in store and person to person contact by requiring all orders be placed through Reserve Ahead

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us promote safe access to cannabis during this time. We will provide additional information as it becomes available, please continue to check the website, follow us on Twitter @netacaremass and on Instagram @neta_now.

With Care,

The NETA Team

May 18, 2020

To Our Patients and Customers:

On Monday, May 18, 2020, MA state officials announced that Adult Use recreational marijuana sales can resume on Monday, May 25, 2020 under a temporary “curbside only” rule and with comprehensive safety measures in place. Please note the following dates for the return of Adult Use to NETA:

-NETA Brookline is CLOSED (Medical and Adult Use) on Monday, May 25, 2020 for the Memorial Day holiday per our local license. NETA Brookline will be open for Adult Use and Medical sales on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

-NETA Northampton is OPEN on May 25, 2020 to resume curbside Adult Use Sales

There will be new restrictions and modifications in place for Adult Use.  Please understand that these changes are to protect the health and safety of our customers and our staff, while ensuring safe access to cannabis. We kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding regarding the following changes to how we’ll be operating for the near future to enable a safe and controlled process for our customers:

-Reserve Ahead orders ONLY: All Adult Use and Medical orders must be placed in advance of your visit through our Reserve Ahead online ordering system. NETA’s walk-in, full-service shopping experience is closed during this time.

-Scheduled Pick Up Times: All Adult Use and Medical orders placed through Reserve Ahead will require customers and patients to select a scheduled Pick Up time. Like all retailers, our capacity will be limited to eliminate crowding and ensure proper distancing. This important change will help us to manage the flow of customers and patients arriving at any point in time. It is critically important that you arrive on time to assist in this effort. If you arrive outside of your scheduled pick up time, we may not be able to serve you.

-Outdoor, “door-side” Pick Up for Adult Use: During this first phase of Gov. Baker’s re-opening process, Adult Use customers will complete their transactions and pick up their orders in a specially marked area of the NETA parking lot.  This “open air” setting is a key aspect of the COVID-19 protocols put in place by Gov. Baker’s plan. Social distancing rules and local ordinances will be enforced to keep customers and employees at safe distances.

-Required masks or face coverings: Per state and local orders, all customers and patients are required to wear a mask or face covering upon arrival, and during their time at NETA, for the protection of employees and other customers and patients.

For Medical Patients:  We will continue serving Medical Patients following the same COVID-19 measures implemented during the past two months:

-Reserve Ahead Only: Medical Patients must also place orders through our Reserve Ahead system.

-Scheduled Pick Up Times: Medical Patients must select a specific pick up time to arrive at NETA. It is critically important that you arrive on time for your order pickup to assist in this effort. If you arrive outside of your scheduled pick up time, we may not be able to serve you.

-In-Store Transactions: Upon arrival, Medical Patients will be guided inside the store to quickly complete their transaction.

-Curbside Pick Up (Northampton): Medical Patients will also be able to arrive at Northampton and remain in their cars to complete their Reserve Ahead transaction.

-Delivery (Brookline): Medical Patients in the Brookline area can place orders to be delivered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

-Required Masks or face coverings: All patients and customers are required to wear a mask or face covering upon arrival and during their time at NETA for the protection of employees and others according to state and local orders.

We are excited to bring back Adult Use in a safe and controlled manner. We will provide additional information as it becomes available, and please continue to check the website, follow us on Twitter @netacaremass and on Instagram @neta_now.

With Care,

The NETA Team

4/3/20

To our Patients,

While our stores remain open as an essential service for registered medical cannabis patients using Reserve Ahead, we want you to feel as safe as possible when you walk through our doors. If you are a Massachusetts resident who is interested in becoming a medical patient, learn how here.

Our team has been informed and trained on the safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and state health authorities for daily sanitization protocols and social distancing to minimize close contact between you and anyone in our stores.  We have a dedicated Task Force that monitors and oversees our proactive efforts to prevent, prepare and protect you and our employees.

What we are doing for you and our team:

– Offering our employees personal protective equipment (PPE) and masks

– Enforcing at least 6-foot social distancing

– Maintaining a minimal number of people in our stores

– Nightly deep cleaning of our facilities and stores, in addition to daily sanitization programs

– Frequent and thorough hand washing

– Any employee who does not feel well must stay home

We’ve adjusted operations to allow you to pick up your products while minimizing contact by requiring all orders be placed using Reserve Ahead. We soon plan to pilot some delivery and curbside pickup options as well.

Our ask is if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of Covid-19, please use good judgement and refrain from coming into our stores to avoid the spread of the virus. And remember you can register up to two caregivers to come by on your behalf.

We will continue to monitor the situation community by community and store by store. We will do our best to update you about any changes to hours or offerings in the store nearest you, or follow us @netacaremass on Twitter.

We appreciate everything everyone is doing to keep each other safe.

With Care,

The NETA Team

03/23/20

NETA will temporarily cease all Adult Use sales starting at 12pm on Tuesday, 3/24

Dear NETA Patients and Customers,

On Monday, Governor Baker announced an update to his emergency executive order in response to COVID-19, requiring that all non-essential businesses and organizations close beginning tomorrow, Tuesday 3/24 at 12pm.

As of today, medical marijuana operators have been deemed essential by the state, and as such, we will continue medical operations at NETA Northampton and NETA Brookline.

Beginning tomorrow at 12pm, both stores will be open for registered medical marijuana patients ONLY. All orders must be placed in advance of pickup through Reserve Ahead. Our primary concern during this time is to continue to offer uninterrupted access to cannabis for medical patients while protecting the health and safety of our staff.

We will cease Adult Use sales in Northampton starting at 12pm tomorrow for the duration of the Governor’s order. We will stop taking Adult Use Reserve Ahead orders at 9am to ensure we can service those who have placed orders before 12pm in Northampton. All Adult Use orders that are not picked up by noon will be cancelled. Brookline has already temporarily ceased adult use sales.

We look forward to reopening Adult Use sales as soon as we are able, as we understand that our adult use customers rely on access to cannabis for their well-being. More information on becoming a medical patient is available here.

Please practice social distancing wherever you may be in the days to come, wash your hands, and take care of one another. Again, we kindly ask that you do not visit our dispensaries if you are showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or think you may have been exposed.

Information on what else we are doing regarding the current coronavirus situation to ensure your well-being is available below.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and we will keep you posted on any developments as this unprecedented crisis is evolving. Please visit netacare.org and follow @netacaremass on twitter for the most up to date information.

With Care,

The NETA Team

03/17/20

Dear NETA Patients and Customers,

As we continue to monitor COVID-19 in our communities, Governor Baker has issued an executive order prohibiting gatherings of over 25 people and on-premise consumption of food and drink at bars and restaurants throughout the commonwealth from Tuesday, March 17 until April 6, 2020.

In order to comply with the Governor’s order and maintain adequate social distancing while ensuring access to cannabis for medical patients, NETA Brookline will be open for MEDICAL PATIENT PURCHASE ONLY starting on Monday, March 16 at 10am. All Medical Patient orders must be made through Reserve Ahead. Adult Use purchases are temporarily paused while we assess our operations and make adjustments to maintain 6’ social distance between our staff, patients and customers.

Per orders from the Town of Brookline, our line will be limited to no more than 10 patients at a time with a distance of 6′ between patients strictly enforced.

At this point in time, NETA Northampton will remain open for both medical patients and adult use customers on a Reserve Ahead only basis. This may change in the coming days or weeks, and we will update you with more information as it becomes available.

As you can imagine, this was a difficult decision that we did not take lightly. We are working to preserve access to cannabis for as many as possible during this uncertain time and hope to re-open for adult use customers in Brookline soon. The health and wellbeing of our staff, customers, and patients is paramount, as is promoting and protecting public health.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and we will keep you posted on any developments as this unprecedented health care crisis is evolving. Please visit netacare.org and follow @netacaremass on twitter for the most up to date information.

With care,
The NETA team

To Our Valued Customers,

We wanted to reach out to make you aware of what we are doing regarding the current coronavirus situation to ensure your well-being. We know it’s an unsettling time for everyone and our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the outbreak. Every day brings new developments.

In light of the current environment, we will remain open, but will move to Reserve Ahead only starting on Saturday, March 14 at our Brookline and Northampton stores. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing Full Service until further notice.

We understand that we play a vital role for our patients and customers who rely on our cannabis products to manage a variety of health symptoms and conditions. In fact, anxiety is one of the most common health concerns we are hearing from our customers in our stores during this unsettling period of time. We take our role in ensuring your well-being very seriously and we will do our best to continue to provide this important service while prioritizing the health and safety of our associates, our customers and our community.

We are closely monitoring the situation and following the official guidance and recommendations of the CDC, OSHA and local Boards of Health to help mitigate and slow the spread of the virus and to ensure, preserve and promote public health. We are taking additional measures to protect and support everyone who works at or visits our stores:

-Increasing sanitizing of all surfaces and deep night cleanings in all our stores

-Continuing to adhere to the State Sanitary Code for Massachusetts

-Enforcing good hygiene of all our associates and directing associates who are feeling unwell not to come into work

-Training associates to be extra sensitive to interactions with patients and adult-use customers, particularly those that are immunocompromised or otherwise vulnerable

-Preparing our stores to respond quickly to any emerging situation

-Implementing a number of ways that our customers can obtain our products while minimizing time in our stores and ensuring minimal contact with staff and others, such as how we manage lines and wait times, and encouraging the use of debit over cash

-Advising customers who are sick or have symptoms to refrain from coming to our stores

Thank you for being a loyal customer. It is our intent to remain transparent and we will provide updates as we learn more. Please visit netacare.org and follow @netacaremass on twitter for the most up to date information.

Thank you for your cooperation and let’s work to stay healthy together,

PATIENTS You won't have to wait in line. Just come on in! ADULT USE Now Open! Lines are significantly shorter compared to opening week. In fact, for several hours on most weekdays, there is no line outside at all. Consider using our Reserve Ahead web app (NETACARE.ORG/RESERVEAHEAD) - most of the time there is little to no line outside for Reserve Ahead pickup orders.
