NETA Northampton Update, November 26, 2018

Dear Patients:

We thank you for your continued loyalty as we successfully launched adult use sales at NETA Northampton. Now after a week of patient and adult-use operations under our belt, we can confidently say to you: Things are working as planned!

We have seen little or no lines for patients at NETA and while there are always some minor day-to-day menu changes, we continue to have our full array of products available.  We have also designated some patient-only parking spots in our Northampton lot to ease access for you. Additionally, our Reserve Ahead App (https://netacare.org/reserveahead/) continues to work well and provides a quick in and out experience for those using it: Try it on your next visit!

Thank you from all of us at NETA for your support! For those of you  hesitant to come on by, please visit us. The water is fine 🙂

Dear Adult-Use patrons and the City of Northampton: We truly appreciate everyone’s help over the last week. It has been a celebration of community and a resounding success because of you. We cannot thank you enough!

See below for a sampling of what we have been hearing from the community:

From Amy Cahillane:

“As Executive Director of the Downtown Northampton Association, I was thrilled that NETA not only had such a seamless opening, but that they have been so wonderfully welcomed into our downtown business community.  Many of our downtown businesses shared news of the opening on social media and welcomed NETA’s customers with offers of munchies, while others highlighted special related offerings, such as artist-made ceramic and glass pipes.  We are proud to have a supportive, thriving downtown business community – and are delighted to welcome NETA!”

From Mayor Narkewicz:

“I congratulate NETA on a very smooth and successful opening week of adult use sales in Northampton. Our police department has worked closely with them to minimize any traffic and parking issues. As Mayor, I welcome the thousands of visitors to our history-making city and encourage them to experience our vibrant shopping, dining, and cultural offerings.”

We’d also like to tip our hats to fellow businesses in town, including:

Fitswilly’s (Downtown restaurant) https://www.fitzwillys.com/:We love your “got munchies?” sign!

Belly of the Beast (Downtown restaurant) https://www.bellyofthebeastma.com/: We sure lucked out having businesses as awesome as yours in the community! And thank you for the delicious cranberry sauce!…

From Aimee Francaes of Belly of the Beast:

“We wanted to reach out and thank NETA for opening in Northampton. We are thrilled to have such a wonderful organization as a part of our community and proud that NETA is one of the first recreational use marijuana dispensaries in Massachusetts. We are so pleased in the cross-over of our guests between NETA and Belly of the Beast, it’s fantastic. Thank you again for being our neighbors!”

Prolube Auto Center (Next to NETA) https://www.prolubeautocenter.com/: A special as great as yours cannot be passed up: 2 hours free parking with an oil change! Everyone – please visit Prolube!
