On Monday, four of NETA Cares’ golfers endured New England weather at its finest: heat, humidity, wind and rain. However, spirits were still high on account of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Invitational Golf Tournament. The foursome joined several other teams for this inaugural event at Woodland Golf Club to help raise funds and awareness for both BWH and BWH Faulkner Hospital.
Michael, Inventory Team Lead, commented, “Couldn’t ask for a better day weather-wise. The great staff of both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Woodland Country Club put together a nice and well organized event! Very grateful and humble to be part of NETA Cares!”
Chris, Inventory Team Lead, shared similar sentiments, “It was a beautiful day to go golfing at Woodland Golf Club. When my grandfather was ill before passing away, he was provided excellent care and support by Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. It was a great experience today to finally give back to them for their efforts.”
