This Saturday, NETA Cares not only sponsored, but also had two elite athletes run in the 39th Annual Bridge of Flowers 10k classic in Shelburne Falls, MA. The race helps to support local charities and non-profits. This year, the race benefitted DIAL/SELF Youth and Community Services, the Cancer Connection, The Art Garden, The Academy of Charlemont, and Friends of Children.

Brian, NETA Inventory Specialist and NETA Cares runner, commented, “The Bridge of Flowers 10k was an absolutely gorgeous run. The event was well organized, the community was great, and the weather even cooperated. Looking forward to returning next year.”

Karima, NETA PSA and NETA Cares runner, reminisced and shared similar feelings, “It was a pleasure to represent NETA Cares at the 39th annual Shelburne Falls’ Bridge of Flowers 10K road race. The scenic course traverses an historic 1890 iron bridge and winds through the neighborhoods of Shelburne Falls. Over 1,000 runners and walkers gathered to support five local charities in Western Massachusetts. It was a perfect day for the community to come together and support one another in such a positive event.”

We were pleased to participate in another iconic 10k, and especially one that benefited many local organizations. We will certainly run in this race again next year! Click here to view our gallery.
