On Friday, May 11th, NETA Cares joined outstanding company at Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Annual Women’s Health Luncheon. The topic this year: Hot & Heavy – A Woman’s Relationship with her Hormones, presented by The Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology.

NETA Cares heard from keynote speaker Lesley Stahl, Correspondent for 60 Minutes, as well as faculty speakers Hadine Joffe, MD, MSc, Lydia Pace, MD, MPH, and Tamarra James-Todd, MPH, PhD. During the annual luncheon, BWH was actively fundraising, with a live tracking thermometer on a projected screen. The luncheon drove in nearly $700,000, of which $135,000 was pledged that day to support the newly announced Connors Center IGNITE Awards.

Other sponsors included Channel 5 news, Sodexo, Bank of America and Boston Interiors. NETA Cares was proud to be a part of such a prestigious group of sponsors.

NETA Cares continues to support Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a Corporate Champion sponsor, and will be have a team of runners at the BAA 10k on June 24th. Stay tuned for photos and a recap of the big race.
