You cannot legally transport medical marijuana across state lines, there for you cannot legally consume medical marijuana purchased in Massachusetts in another state, regardless of patient status or that state’s marijuana laws. You may travel within the state of Massachusetts with your medical marijuana, however, you may not bring medical marijuana on a commercial flight under any circumstances (even if flying within the state or between two legal states). Patients cannot consume medical marijuana in any form, including by smoking, vaping, or eating, in public places or on federal land. This includes both indoor and outdoor facilities. In general, it’s best to consume in the privacy of your own home.
